My Privacy and Security Policy
This site is set up to allow you to easily find the information you are looking for without any signup or other identification required. The only way for you to reveal personal information is by emailing me or purchasing a product.
When you place an order you are transferred to a secure server where your name, address, email and credit card details are stored. You can be sure of this if the page URL starts with https, this is a highly encrypted system that carries a very low risk of hacking.
Your email address
Your email address will be added to my database if you first email me or purchase a product from this site. Occasionally I may send out a newsletter or important announcement to people on my mailing list. To be removed all you have to do is follow the link at the bottom of the email. This list never leaves this office - it is never sold or rented out.
Cookies
Cookies are a natural part of browsing the web. They are small packets of info that are sent to your computer. They make browsing more convenient for you. They capture no information other than the IP address of your computer and items you have selected to purchase. Cookies can be removed by going to Tools on your browser toolbar. IP address capture is only useful to me in cases of attempted fraud.
Ads on this site
I try to keep advertising to a minimum but it helps feed the baby. If you see something interesting, give it a look. Clicking on an ad takes you to a different site. Whatever personal information you share with that vendor is not passed back to me.
How to Change your Information or Opt Out
To be removed or change your personal information from my databases, simply send a blank email with “remove” in the subject line to: contact@home-tankless-hot-water-heater.info.
